I Hate House Work

I had a friend who hated tidying his room but used the messiness to his advantage. Whenever he got paid from work (he was about 20, single-his own choice- and getting paid weekly from his job) he would take a certain amount out of the bank all in change, stand at his bedroom door then throw the money so it scattered around the room. That way, when he did finally find the motivation to completely tidy his room he would have saved up enough for something he wanted. He would also do this with any loose change he had after shopping/ going out on a Friday night/ etc.

Don't get me wrong, his room wasn't 100% messy, not like you would see on one of these Hoarders type tv shows but at one point he saved up about £400 in 2 months, and he knew if he kept that money in a jar/ in the bank, he would probably only have about £2.50 in the end.

It's a good premise, but I think I would stick to doing the housework regardless of how boring it is lol
