Working so hard but still hitting a wall

I’m Putting in work and really trying to change/better myself. Going to therapy, meditating, journaling but it doesn’t result a step forward, maybe micro steps.

Anyone ever experience this before? What did you do to get out of this story of not being good enough? Working on self acceptance and my proficiency at my newish job.

I’ve been told you just need to do the work but I’m just stuck...

You have to find something you enjoy and do it: photography, working out, healthy physical relationship, enjoying the sun, etc. Do it regularly and trust the process. You can’t really see the baby steps, but a month or so later, you’ll be better off... six months later even more.

Set big goals too. Make a plan to go after it/them. Cancel any and all negative relationships. Do NOT allow your mind to have the “free will” to assume you’ll fail. If you become hesitant, assume success, never failure.

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep the mind positive and the input around you positive. You’ll succeed for sure. If someone around you is negative, tell them specifically to stop. It’s no longer allowed. They can go be negative on their own.

Work out and watch your diet too. It helps.

Yes it works in due time. Took me a good few years. Still in the process of healing. It seems hopeless at first but one year later you look back and see you've come ahead, then a few years later you look back and realize your efforts have been fruitful. But don't exhaust yourself. If your mind needs a break from all the struggle, let it rest.

maybe you are working too hard to "fix" yourself when really you need a little self acceptance and care. We can get so caught up in the solution that we forget to be nice to ourselves. You wouldn't tell someone over and over they need fixing, don't do it to yourself.

Wow you all are so amazing! Thank you so much. My friend was the one who told me about this community and I’m so lucky she did.

What goals are you all working on? What brought you to this community if you want to share.
