I Love My Best Friend
I love how she can read my mind and is not even impressed with herself when she does.
Some might find it strange I met her through my late husband. She was his ex girlfriend. We have always gotten along but it has only been in the last 6 years since he passed that we have become best friends. I do not know what I would do without her. Fate had us move at the same time into the same neighborhood and it has always felt like John brought us together. Like he knew we needed each other. She is the smartest person I know and I am not the least bit threatened by that. The respect we have for each other is solid and no BS will ever change that. I am grateful to have her in my life because I know no matter what , she has my back. And I will always have hers. Counting my many blessings tonight.
