I Love Beck
Yes music again....
Now Beck covering Leonard Cohen is quite interesting. Their writing approaches (were) very different. Cohen would spend days on a phrase, a verse on a song contemplating it's meaning. I loved that of him.
Then Beck comes in, covers an album in a week, makes it a piece of music. Cohen never really was a musician; music was an excuse for him to write words, his real desire. But something of Beck's take captures, in a different way, the same emotions
