I Love Writing Fiction
Have you ever looked into someones eyes and seen such turmoil and pain. Looked into their eyes at a different time and not been able to see absolutely anything... nothingness. This wasn't something I was used to, I have always been able to see someones story by looking into their eyes. I never believed someone could be so that shut off and it hurt to know that her struggles had given her this ability. I remember looking into her eyes and the tears falling from my own thinking about everything she had been through and how it had effected her.
She would sometimes sit and tell me about the things she had been put through, with little emotion left. It was just "another" story, like any other. I remember wishing that I had known her then, there was probably little that I could have done to change her circumstances but she would never have had to go through them alone.
I hate that she punishes herself because she honestly knows no different. She doesn't understand that she can and is loved because too many people have made her feel un-lovable. It didnt matter how many times I tried to reassure her, the damage had already been done.
I hope one day she feels realises her worth and how special she is.
