I Love Cycling

The first sport i chose for myself, and at a time when it was still very much a minor sport, almost underground. Perhaps that's something that drew me to it. But I also loved how tight knit it was. You could go into a bike shop and be chatting to a world champion. Or be out on a ride in the country and happen across a total stranger who would chat like an old friend because they were a rider too (and then later they would go on to win the green jersey at the Tour De France). It was the first group I felt accepted by and as such no matter how much or little I ride these days there's always a place in my heart.
