Deserve is such a loathsome word. It assumes the existence of fairness. It acts like there's a karma fairy out there that you need to wait for to give you something. There is no fairness. If you want something, make it, take it, or buy it. Life doesn't care how hard you work or how good you are. I have to remind myself that every time I feel like pulling the trigger
