That's what my family did. Up until when I was 15 or 16 we finally got a house but it was because there was no money so we had what we could get. Which I should be grateful for.

I moved all throughout my life and I still do. In my case, Yes it is possible. You do that to ensure you make it to another day. It's for survival to make plans to fix it some other day.

Yes, you can do it. If you have more than a couple kids it's hard, though. 3+ room apartments can cost more than a house payment and they have rules on how many per apartment.
