What's the hardest lesson you've learned from your life so far?

Mine are the following.
1. Never to trust people.
2. Keep your needs above others(It's not selfish).
3. Never to be nice to everyone. Not all of them are going to reciprocate it back. Your honesty should be given to those who deserve it.
if you don't add enough weight, the body will float when you throw it in the river

The only person responsible for who you are ( no matter the shit you have been through) is you . If you are looking to blame , keep a mirror handy .

@sspec That boy has a good heart, he thinks deeply about things. I think he has something special in his life to do.

Everybody you love is gonna die. Don't take people for granted cuz you never know when they could leave. Remember to always say I love you cuz you might not get another chance.

Don't give with the expectation you will recieve it back; money, time, energy, emotions.
It is not a loan, it is a gift.

Having unprotected sex can change your whole life’s direction.
Enjoy every minute with those you love. They could be gone tomorrow.

People who often like to give advice would not be willing to help you even if it was easy to do so. They just like to stick their nose in where it doesn’t belong, and you better ask what their motive is.

That childhood abuse can impact one's life into middle-age without even having recollection of it.
1. Always listen to your gut.
2. You are stronger than you think.
3. You are your own boss.

Jesus told us in Matt 24 that in the last generation before he comes back to judge the living and the dead that iniquity would abound and mans hearts would grow cold! We live in that generation!
Carazaa · F
We are told to forgive 70x 7 but you don’t have to trust them or live with someone who is abusive!@Beatbox34
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@Carazaa I don't live with them but I lost everything because of them. I agree it's my fault for believing in them.

That loss caused a dent in my life. I still prayed for them everyday. They returned to cause me more pain and broke me again.

Some deeds are easier said than done. I'm not telling you're wrong with what you said. You're absolutely right. I just can't do it. I still battle with depression and suicidal thoughts because of the loss I had to deal with.

@Beatbox34 So sorry!

@Carazaa It's a long story.
Khadija · 31-35, F
Not to be transparent enough, because first people get to know about you and later uee your weaknesses against you, simplicity doesn't survive easy in this fake world.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@Khadija I'm sorry you've had to deal with something like that.

I agree with every word because I've dealt with that. Not everyone will appreciate your honesty and they'll surely use it against you.

(1) Never do PE in socks (I broke my arm and cracked a rib when I slipped)
(2) Never iron clothes while you are still wearing them 🙄
My hardest lesson in my life so far is to not put myself above others. Took me a long time to learn that.
ncgremlin · 56-60, M
