What are three things which are stopping you to do things you want to do in life?

LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
In a nutshell, me, myself and I.

@LucyFuhr Nice.Taking full responsibility.

@Somexyz Finding a scapegoat doesn't actually change the situation...know what I mean? 😉
Somexyz · 36-40
@LucyFuhr Exactly.

Money, time, and circumstance most of the time...but the things I would like to do aren't really that big of a deal or that big of a loss if I don't (I have most everything I need and want already).
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
No money, no support, and poor mental health
Somexyz · 36-40
@TinyViolins Have a built one. Like friend circle, website like this, reading article. But all these are just to support. In the end, only you have to get things right.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@Somexyz I've been failing at that for years. I have no friends and so far no one on this website is willing to really help. They just want to share empty words and follow cheap thrills.

Articles don't offer solutions, they only address the problem. It's difficult to find a way to get things right when no one understands how
Somexyz · 36-40
@TinyViolins As I said all these things are there to only support. It is only you who has to accept that only you can set things right. I am not saying things perfectly right. But taking the full responsibility to set things right.
Even if somebody gives you a support and set things right for you, then remember that you will be dependent on somebody. It will be just like standing with crutches.
Become someone who can support one selves

Mostly just income. But also my own insecurity and anxiety.
Somexyz · 36-40
Last two need more attention the first problem. I hope you get more them soon.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Me, myself and I.

I am wasting time battling my own insecurities, fears.

Money is an obstacle but if I get myself going that might not be such an issue anymore.
Somexyz · 36-40
@JaggedLittlePill Completely agrees with the last line.

There are more than three things, but choosing the three biggies: Lack of money, energy and skills. The money part I can't do much about, and skills require the other two to be in order. Energy is something I only have limited control over.
