Do you ever feel like you don’t give a fvck anymore?

Mostly when I get fed up or bogged down.

I literally DON'T gaf about a lot of things I used to. Like what people think of me, or hurting someone's feelings if they're being stupid and need to be called on it, or being brutally honest when someone asks me my opinion of their life or their problems. I think this type of bravado comes with age.

I became much happier in my own life when I ran out of fucks to give. Only value the opinions of those whom you value.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a [b]me first [/b] attitude . You don’t live your life to suit others . Obviously you don’t want to exhibit offensive behavior ... but you don’t do that anyway . It’s part of transitioning into who you will be ... when we are younger we worry about pleasing others, but we gradually start just pleasing our selves .

I agree with you, but I'd phrase it different. The most important opinion (by far) regarding you and your life is your opinion. That doesn't mean you don't care about other people or about life, it simply means you are realizing that your life is yours to live the way you see fit.

Other people can have opinions, and you get to decide if a particular person's opinion is 1) one you want to hear, or 2) one you care about. Right?

When it comes to some people, you have to give a certain degree of fvck. Y'know,
like the person who signs your paycheck,
your kids,
who you go to sleep with at night,
your Higher Power
and [b]YOU[/b]

...the rest, are owed nothing.

People are fickle; it's nice if they like you but it's not imperative that they do.

I do care about what others think, probably the people that don't like me which is why it bugs me

Ever since the slipper accident I couldn't really say I give a damn about what people think. Especially German tourists looking at the whole scene from their car 😌

Do not concern yourself with the opinions of anyone who would not concern themselves with your opinion of them. It's pretty basic self defense 101.

I do not care about people who do not care about me, it's very simple. if Somebody would not cry over me I will not cry over them.
