wait at least 7-8, 10 years to get married. you change a lot in your 20s. during that time, educate yourself you whatever level you want. travel your butt off it will exponentially increase your education. learn to play music if you want, or basket weave. try things out of your norm. establish yourself financially so that you rely on no one. all this makes you interesting. then.. if you happen to run into a partner who compliments you consider it. you'll be prepared for it either way.

It is not easy nor common for someone your age to be this way. Bravo for your having the confidence and the courage to be you here and, I feel, there. I am happy to share my knowledge and my experience with anyone who wishes to hear it. Never stay in an unhappy relationship because you feel obligated by the length of time that has passed. I did and I spent so many years lacking and being unhappy. People think they have plenty of time. In reality, years pass rapidly whether one is happy or not. Wait til you are 25- 30 to get married. Get your education as soon as possible! Be able to support yourself if need be. Don’t listen to his words but listen to his actions, they speak loudly if you listen to them. Watch how he treats his mother, elderly people and children. Watch how he acts under pressure. Make sure he is your friend before you marry him. All good advice. PS I recommend long engagements to really know him!

Give up on everything in life except our goal. No obligations to friends, people and family unless you decide to give them your time. 21-25 are the most important years in terms of work. You can always party after you get older too.
If you did nothing except a few mindless jobs and partying then you're fucked. It's like building muscle on your body. It gets harder and harder as you age.

That's easy ... don't cling to life.

Stay 21 - if that's not an option...blink and you'll be 30 so focus: love, life, career, balance. People my age had some good F-off years where we could screw around. Your generation doesn't really have that option. Have fun - but seriously - think about the future!...but have fun too! :)
