I had a really long, vivid, and horribly violent nightmare yesterday. I'm still feeling upset thinking about it.

I was flying in an airplane with my dad and we had to crash land in the water, and everyone was swimming out but my dad's foot got stuck under someone's heavy suitcase and he couldn't get out as the plane was sinking.

I know this feeling well. I've had a reoccurring nightmare where me, and all of my kids, fall off a platform into seemingly clear water. The water turns murky and brown as soon as we hit it, and I can't find my youngest kids. I'm freaking out and realize I'm an arm's length away from a killer whale. Then I wake up. Often crying and always deeply affected for a minimum of a day. Sorry Blue, it's a terrible feeling.

@BlueMetalChick it's been happening since I was about 13, about once a year and always with the people closest to me at the time. Losing the kids is the worse, and even though I wake up and know its only a dream, it still stays with me.

@Starcrossed Yeah, my alarm went off and woke me up, thank god. I jumped up and ran into the bathroom to look at my reflection. My eyes were dilated and I was sweating, so I took a cold shower to distract myself.

@Whereuat No, but I guess I'm really scared to lose him, and I've only realized it recently. He's some of the only family I have still alive. I already lost my mother, both my first cousins, my aunt, and two of my grandparents.
