I Am Confused About My Feelings

should i try and comfort my uncle about my dad's death? he locked himself in his room. i want to be helpful but don't want to be intrusive... aslo what would i say?

He will need time alone to digest his sadness. When we have a death to get over, it is also a reminder about our own future death.
Does he like tea/coffee, then leave him a beverage that he likes to drink, to keep his water level up.
Let him know, that when he needs to talk, that you are around to listen to him. Does he like walking, as a quite walk can help.
Give him time and space, when he is ready he will let you know.
How are you then? I lost my dad when I was 9. My doggie was my console, I had him to hug. Who do you have to hug? Then when you can hug your uncle, just hug and hold him tight.

thanks as for your questions i don't have a pet but i have good friends my cousins have been comforting me so i guess them.
Agreed with SoFine, just let him know you are there to talk whenever he needs to and just give him space and time, everyone grieves in a different way ya know? My Aunt passed away last year from stage 4 pancreatic cancer and everyone in my family dealt with it in different ways. Sorry for your loss and I hope everything goes okay x.
