Yes that has happened to me. I think that everyone has the ability to be mean. We often hurt those who are closest to us.

I try very hard not to do this. In fact I have become a door mat in the effort to not hurt people. I have a almost unquenchable spirit that keeps me going.

This all said, I know, I myself have done this. Much to my shame.😢

Yes...I learned VERY quickly not to ask for anything...ever. The more I desired or needed it, the more it was withheld or something nasty was given in its place.
