If you had to say a prayer in your own words how would you say it?

returning from I trip
I'll just say
God thank you for bringing us home safely
When I eat
Thanks for the food on the table
and those who have none
bless them God
please sent your angels to protect those who suffer
when I climb into my warm bed in winter
I always think of those who live in shacks
and how cold they must be
please let all the unfairness and hate end
bring a stop to it
thanks for all my blessings
and forgive me my sins
as I forgive others
protect me from evil
all the glory to You

It would be too personal to say

Sup big guy, shout out for the blessings you've sent and don't be hard on us who make the wrong choices. Send some love and angels out way cause times are tough and when it's tough people do things they wouldn't normally. One love. Amen.

I talk to Yahweh (God) like I talk to a friend. There is nothing formal or preset about it. About the only thing I repeat is "Father forgive me in Jesus Name I ask" at the beginning of the prayer.

I talk to God like he was one of us humans. I tell him everything. Every emotion, every thought, every want, every desire.
