Why is it that cashiers always ask if the food I'm buying is all for me?

And when I say no none of it is mine, they said "don't lie" 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

It's none of their business. That could fall into dangerous territory. It could reveal you live alone and the dude behind you in line will drive behind you.

@Robzei: Same. I only go to that shop because I work near it and I don't live near my work, so I buy lots of the same things to stock up.
