Have you ever preferred the hard floor to your soft bed?

Ever ask yourself why?
SW-User
Yes, it's cooler on the wood floors. I'm a cat

@Nugget: It's definitely cooler on the floor
SW-User
Because I feel like soft beds are gonna swallow me into a dark abyss.

@ThePhilanthropeOtaku: Your bed must be really really soft
Quite often when my back is bothering me. Now I can just set my bed to 100 and avoid the floor.
SW-User
@AcidBurn: You can do that to your bed?
@Alex1610: I have a sleep number bed. The firmness is adjustable.

Actually I've had that sometimes when I was not feeling well. Bed was to warm or something. I don't really know why.
SW-User
@Classified: Sometimes I can't sleep well on my bed coz it's too soft lol

I slept on the hard floor for a year. It did my back a lot of good surprisingly.

@Burgerbait: Well I'm not surprised

If you have ever thrown your back out, lying on firm wood is sometimes helpful.
SW-User
@Evansville: That's it!

I`ve spent many nights on the floor when I hurt my back.
SW-User
@Degbeme: Me too!!
Rambler · M
There have been times, yes.
SW-User
@Rambler: When you have back pain?
Rambler · M
That's one reason. But sometimes I feel more free on the floor, like I'm not supposed to sleep there, therefore no pressure and I can. Sleep weirdness, I know.

@LadyJuneBug: I'll take that as a yes
SW-User
Nope, I like my bed just fine, I haven't slept on a floor since I was a kid in a "sleeping bag" at a friend's house.
