Why would such a young child want anything to do with someone my age?

@MorbidCynic: No, there is no such thing as "supposed to be" when it comes to relationships between consenting adults. It's all down to personal preferences. My husband is older than me, but I [i]prefer[/i] older men. Not every couple conforms to that, especially not where I live.
