Do you keep stuff you find in the trash?

I found a brand new powerbank today. The person who threw it away saved me 40€ because I wanted to buy one soon.

I found a stack of flower pots Saturday put next to a curb with other discarded items and got them...why not??? It's green to do that.

@cheesyAF: We have two major clean-out times that are staggered by area of city, people start putting out stuff on the curbs a week before the city collects it and then metal collectors and flea marketer people start driving around picking through it. Better than going to the dump. And now people are doing it throughout the summer hoping people will take the stuff so they don't have to pay someone to haul it off.

I drove by a coffee table in the trash years ago, I was embarrassed but i took it, there was nothing wrong with it and I needed one :)

where i live now it's crap.

there was a place.. that was super duper treasure trove of dumpster finds.

(folks with money, getting divorced, separated, child custody, deaths... ) man they just toss everything!
