What Do You Hate Being Called?

Sir.

I am not superior.
"hun" usually coming from anyone grates my fucking nerves, since i was a child. and "sweetie" coming from other women, especially when i know they're trying to be condescending. any pet name said with condescension does not ever work for me. but "hun" is #1 with a BIG bullet. with or without the tone.

everything else? babygirl, princess, babe, baby, all that i actually quite love, but if i'm given a special particular name and i watch them call everyone else that name too, it's fkin trash to me and i will start disliking it.

"Quiet", I'm not quiet, it's just that I have nothing in common with them to speak about

It's more about tone for me. Pet names like sweet heart, babe, baby girl and princess all take on a new meaning when the tone is dismissive or the person doesn't know me well enough to use those terms.
