Pride is a double edged sword. A certain amount of pride is good to have.......

When you let pride lead you to make bad decisions, it can lead to a miserable life. Oddly enough, most who suffer from excessive pride will never ever admit to it. LOL Thats, Most not All.

I entirely agree with you and all that you say. There are as many quotes about Pride being a negative (ie: 'Pride comes before a fall') as there are positives. In fact, I often lean on the idea of why I should have a reason to be proud of something I'm told I should be ... when in all honesty I am not 😄

@Justbychance: yep, can either be a good thing or a bad thing, i think its good if its in moderation...... in excess, it can lead to very poor decision making.

@YourMomsSWcrush: I think it can be irritating when, in a court of law, the lawyer will ask if you had sex rather than if you slept with the person; we all know why that is because it's obvious what the lawyer is set on knowing ... lol
