Is it just in the UK that people are going round with hammers pinching motorbikes?

I work in London and this week these hammer-welding thugs attacked someone outside work. I've only heard of it in the UK.

@WaltzingMatilda: it seems like te police aren't doing anything about it. I've seen so many videos of it on YouTube. It's not like they are hard to spot as well. Some car drivers should just ram the fuckers.
