Lay down in a dark room before the nausea begins. I don't get them as often but once the sickness starts, it's a killer along with the pain.

Sorry. I know how that feels. I suffered from it from the age of 5 to my mid 20's.

@offingg: I didn't know what it was except that I had really intense pain. I never cried. I'd just hide & rub my temples/forehead. I didn't even tell my parents until I was older. I suffered in silence. As I got older, I'd vomit to relieve some of the pressure & nausea.
