was ep better than SW?

It all depends on why you are here, In some areas yes and in some areas no. SW is better at the part you are using now, all these questions and answers. But as a place for connecting with people for support usually over medical situations you or your family are going trough EP was much more beneficial. EP was created as a support site, this place was created more as a social site.

they had unlimited blocking.. other than that I like it here

So, so, so many "ghost" accounts.
In that...someone had joined in say 2009.
And only answered a single question...or so.
And never seen again.
Never, ever bothered to go back.
Or.
A prolific contributor.
That suddenly "stopped".
For no particular reason?
Nothing from 2011 onwards.
Like a civilisation walking back into the jungle.
EP was funny that way!

In a broad context.. hell yeah! More people to talk to, ep wouldnt block you from talking to certain people even though you really wanna, ep was more anonymous

Nopes. It was way worse.

sw is growing into a more useful site, as more of the things go active it will get better. it isn't fair to compare a site that was fully developed to one that is still being completed

Yes. The thread responses were more inspired. You met a wider range of people that were more open.

I think it was larger which made it more diverse.
For me that equates to better.

It was busier in the early days. If SW was as busy itd be better than EP imo

The culture, the website, phone app, & a good amount of it's features I like more than SW.

People were more open on ep
