If I've never let my car run out of gas, how much gas from the first time I filled up is still in the tank today?

I need to know.

Well, the information we'd need is:

The number of times you filled the tank
Capacity of the tank
How much you put in each time you filled it

So, for example, if you filled it originally with 10 gallons, burned 8, filled it, then burned 9, you'd have 20% remaining from the first one, then 10% remaining from the second blend. So 0.2*0.1*10(the tank capacity) gives you 0.2 gallons of your original fuel.

@Sadie14: *loans her my gas can
Well one thing I know is you shouldn't run it low on gas, then fill it up. The fuel pump is on the gas tank and as you drive it alot low on fuel the fuel pump gets warm, then fill it up,the fuel is cool. It will make your fuel pump needing replacement, shortening it's life
