Many people get uncomfortable if they cant put you inside of a box, or if you dont fit the mold of their preconceived notions.....

Great post! This is how I am, I am unique and the most free that I have ever been in my entire life. I gave myself the MamaButterfly name because my life symbolizes the meaning of it. For most of my life I was living in a shell like a cocoon, just like the caterpillar until I broke free from it and found myself again. Its funny that you say how we cannot be put inside a box (because that's actually the title of my book that I am writing) Its called My Life In A Box.

I lived most of my life sheltered, isolated and alone, I was kept like that for many years and found no actual worth of myself when I was trapped in that life, until I finally broke myself out if and found my freedom and my worth. I cannot ever allow anyone or anything keep me captured and trapped in that lifestyle ever again.

I am a free spirit, happy and joyful and never will I find myself being kept isolated again (like I was then). Now, I can spread my wings and fly. Free to be me and happy with who I am and nobody can ever take that away from me.

True. I'm not sure if it's even about not being able to put you into a box, what secretly scares them is the idea that if you don't fit into their understanding of their world, they may have to admit to themselves that they don't actually understand the world around them.

😟That's how society roles! Just look at all the stupid advertising and commercials we see every moment we are around it! They even found a way to make your statement about being different, etc....a trend! But I agree!

i find most who praise uniqueness are the first to attack someone who is.

i get that all the time via my appearance.

mocked, insulted and even threatened.

yet they "you are who you are be a free spirit" i usually just tell these types to:




go play in traffic!
