I'm a baby boomer, but prefer friends who are Millinials, is that odd?

I tend to be outdoorsy, love hiking, a rarity with my age group... they also seem to be a lot more open minded and willing to consider two sides of controversial issues. I love their enthusiasm and zest for life. So many things, plus they think music from the 60's is pretty cool too.
