Would you take care of your significant other's child if its not your child?

Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Yes,if I love daddy and he has a child they are a package deal. And e landing this thought, that means child support comes before dates. It means I expect him to put that child before me because the child didn't ask to be part of our adult scenario but I'm there by choice. Kids come first.

Yes. Like they were my own !
Whatever you feel about your partners ex, their children deserve the best.
It is a nightmare dealing with other people's children.
Whatever you do will always be wrong in somebody's eyes !
But growing up is hard ! We all remember that, right ?
But if you can see past all the adult b/s that goes with partners with children, and just bear their needs in mind ahead of anything else, it can and should be thought of as worthwhile.

Very nicely said
Of course. If I didn't that would make her pretty insignificant wouldn't it?

it seems like it'd be part of the package deal you should know about going in.

Any man that says no shouldn't be with a woman with a child. Same goes for women being they are supposed to be the motherly ones. The child has no choice in his/her life at this point. Love should and needs to be shown always. If you don't love the kid how can you love the parent?
Well said.

I've never been married and I don't have any kids. I wouldn't go near a woman with children. Not my problem.

Yes as a human I think that children should be taken care of.

No wonder there are so many kids without Dad's. Men are afraid of loving someone that isn't there's or doesn't put out.

Yes, as long as I can be a proper parent and not just an ATM.

[c=#BF0080]It would depend on the situation of the child. If the mother of the child is capable then I'm not trying to raise someone else's kid.[/c]
Absolutely.

If I can't love his child then I can't love him.

One and the same.

To a point.
