Have You Gotten Calls, Text-Messages or Mail For Offers To Buy Your Home?

It seems that they are harassing people now with these offers. I wonder how many other people have gotten them.

I’ve been. The strange thing is I don’t even own a house. They say this address I never lived there. I started to reply and say how much you want for it. I never get a response back. But those text messages keep coming

@Jeffrey53 I know a business owner who got a phone call from someone offering to buy his home at the address where the business is. He told him it wasn’t a house it was a business and if he had $2million dollar to pay him he would sell it to him. I don’t know why he thought the address was a residence when you can Google and see it’s a business.

@cherokeepatti one address they gave me was an open land. I googled it there was nothing there. They wanted money before they can process the sale.

I occasionally receive flyers in the mail. I have heard that it's a really bad deal.

@SW-User You know I think there’s been flyers left hanging on the doorknob too, it’s been awhile since people went door-to-door doing that. They are spending a lot of money seeking out homes to buy, and there are TV commercials and other ads too.

@cherokeepatti Coronavirus restrictions saved us temporarily from the door to door attacks. Before 2020, I had to keep my storm door locked, because of the JW's trying to convert me. They showed up several times a year. The real estate stuff only landed in my mailbox. I was warned by a realtor a long time ago that these people only give lowball offers.

I get them from local realtors.
One of them seems to mail me at least one a month.
But, because she has become such a nuisance, she is the ONE I would never hire.

Yes. A realtor called me about two weeks ago.

@SW-User I have wondered if they are targeting older people who have purchased their homes when they were about half the price of what they are selling for now and trying to give offers way under market because those people may not know what the homes are selling for now.

@SW-User Seems like they are buzzards circling around an animal before it dies in the desert 😂 Trying to get the best pickings
