Is it acceptable, in a limited sense, and as even Churchill did, to acknowledge Hitler's oratory, charisma, industry and determination?

He was also a descent artist. If he was all shit, he never would have risen to power. Just to be clear, fuck that guy.

@Dolimyte Was a vegetarian, teetotaller, animal lover and possibly virgin too apparently. Might have been better for the world as a whole if he hadn't had these minor virtues.

@UpForItNow Maybe if he had gotten laid once in a while he wouldn't have started a World War

@UpForItNow hard to say. A different leader may have won WWII for the Nazis.
Psychopaths a serial killers are intelligent and charismatic. That's how they get people to fall for them and manipulate them. They just don't have a conscience.

You can admire people’s abilities without condoning how they use them

A lot of books and documentaries about the Second World War touch on those elements. In that context I think its acceptable.

Yeah, I guess so.
I would not support Nazi Pride Month and wouldn't want even your acknowledgement of his oratory, charisma, industry and determinationconstrued as acceptance of his brutal, murderous policies.

It would be dangerous not to. These kinds of people are around us.
The only way to explain his accomplishments would be to acknowledge them. Lauding them would not be.
