How are graduations usually held where you live?

There any specific ceremonies and celebrations afterwards? If you've graduated yourself, how'd you describe how that day was for you?

When my daughters graduated from highschool, they each had huge graduation ceremonies and we went out to their favourite restaurant afterwards. They had their proms on different days than grad. One of my sons graduated from highschool last year and there was no ceremony thanks to covid but I did put up a graduate sign on my front lawn which he hated lol. We ordered dinner in since we weren't allowed to go anywhere. Next year I will have a university graduate

Around here every spring, there are signs in front of houses advertising that a graduating senior lives there. Not long after, there will be a traffic jam in front of and around those houses.

My graduation days were a long time ago. They were a mixed bag of happy to have graduated and done well, combined with bad/weird family behavior.

Our five high schools have separate graduation ceremonies in the district football stadium. Speeches are kept short since each school has about 600 graduates who will receive diplomas. Celebrations are left up to each family.

We don't really have school graduations as such. University graduations are quite formal.
If the graduation is small enough, you can hold it in the palm of your hand.
