Can someone help me identify an insect?

I just caught this bug under a plastic CD spindle and I'm worried it might be some variety of roach. Anyone know what this is?

It's some kind of weevil. They are related to beetles.

@MougyWolf Thank goodness.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
@BlueMetalChick it's harmless. A bit ugly, but harmless.

@MougyWolf Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a sign of some type of infestation.

@BlueMetalChick it's definitely not a roach

@BlueMetalChick people use to view punk as some kind of infestation too!

@atlantic59 Uh...ok? I'm not sure what the relevance of that is.

@BlueMetalChick bugs that show up and take our interest.....whether we like it or not...and make us stamp our feet....am I reaching, here?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@atlantic59 Wouldn't that apply to basically every youth music movement ever?
atlantic59 · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick Yes, of course!

The Beatles, The Crickets, -how come we never heard of 'The Roaches' or 'The Roach Variants'
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@atlantic59 Well we did have Papa Roach.

As an older person, I really appreciate you informing me of the new strains...So much has changed and mutated since I was young. I remember when the Dead Sea was just 'not feeling well'....
