For those of you who received the AstraZeneca vaccine…

Was the 2nd dose worse or better than the 1st? The 1st was too much for me to handle anyway 💀

I found the first dreadful. Second: was over it within couple of days (at least so it seems). Was an absolute breeze in comparison, thankfully.

That makes sense. Thank you [@1044765,HatterM]

I nearly died!!
[@509132,Asmae] lol naw really Ihni
I take Johnson and Johnson so
Asmae · 31-35, F
Lol. J&J is just a single dose so that’s expected. The first dose turned me into a zombie. But seriously it was kinda bad [@967051,Darksideinthenight2]
[@509132,Asmae] well personally turning into a zombie isnt too bad lol that mean u were super human. Lol no but really I sorry ur body didnt take it well with the 1st dose. Hopefully your body know what to expect with the second dose and u be fine.
Did you get a free beer or any prize? Seems like politicians been briding people to take the Vaccine right now
Asmae · 31-35, F
Nope. It was back in April and we don’t usually do beer in Morocco [@860047,BeatMySelf2Pain4Perfection]

Asmae · 31-35, F
[@997259,KA9ha] what vaccine was that?
KA9ha · 31-35, M
[@509132,Asmae] covishield
TheotherAndy · 41-45, M
My first shot was rough too. My second shot though was Pfizer
Asmae · 31-35, F
Why did they change the vaccine for the 2nd dose? [@568699,TheotherAndy]
TheotherAndy · 41-45, M
There was some debate about AstraZeneca, and they had way more doses of the other two[@509132,Asmae]
Asmae · 31-35, F
I see [@568699,TheotherAndy]
I got Pfizer I didn't have much of a reaction other than a sore arm for about a day. My parents both get AstraZeneca and neither of them had any kind of reaction at all. Maybe because they're older and their immune systems aren't functioning that well anymore haha.
Asmae · 31-35, F
I think that’s true bc my mom got it and felt nothing at all, no side effects whatsoever, but I was a wreck for a couple days [@232861,MrBlueSky]
Royrogers · 61-69, M
Both the first second had no effect whatsoever
Mugin16 · 41-45, M
A friend got AstraZeneca and she said it was horrible. She got fever and ague.
Asmae · 31-35, F
Yeah same. Was that her 1st or 2nd dose? [@393432,Mugin16]
Mugin16 · 41-45, M
[@509132,Asmae] Her first one, I think.
malizz · 70-79, M
No problems here.
Asmae · 31-35, F
Both doses? [@318468,malizz]
I received Moderna and was warned that I might experience side-effects with the second shot. With first one I didn’t notice anything, didn’t even feel the injection. The second one, I needed to take a nap when I got home and my arm was sore, but no more than other injections I’d received, like flu shots. There was a red area on the site, but the soreness went away within a day.
Sirfurryanimal · 61-69, M
Exactly the same -not even a sore arm.
AussieWhisperer · 100+, M
It killed 2 of my horses
[@1203332,AussieWhisperer] Your horses were given the vaccine ? 😳
TUFKAL · 56-60, M
I had no reaction at all to the second dose.

I just had a slight temperature, and my arm was a little sore to touch, after the first.
BluntSm0ker · 26-30, M
Smh bruhh no, now u gonna turn into a annoying British person.
Asmae · 31-35, F
[@415169,BluntSm0ker] AstraZeneca has factories in Russia so 🪆
BluntSm0ker · 26-30, M

Sputnik or Die...
Asmae · 31-35, F
[@415169,BluntSm0ker] We have Sputnik too in Morocco but I wasn't privileged enough
