This article does not explain the pallets all around the fence perimeter.

@4meAndyou Nope only gave advanced notice of the exercise. I suppose they would take a dim view of someone walking up and peeking inside them to take a closer look.

The article did say it was a joint mission with choppers and trucks converging on the capital building. I would expect the trucks would be loaded with something, if nothing else the TOE for the units deployed.

@bowman81 I am just hoping and praying that Nasty's 1.9 BILLION dollars to harden up security on her bony stinky rear end at the Capitol building will not be mis-used.

@MarineBob In a way, I hope she does something really horrible and stupid, with lousy optics...because the outrage, which is already there....will grow.

@4meAndyou Maybe they are constructing booths to provide social services help to those who threaten the Capital, since they seem to believe defunding the police and hiring social workers is the answer to problems?
