@darkrose Yes we were happy for people but I just wanted time off it to have a barbecue or go for a swim. Anything but making small talk with the family of a bride I barely knew in 30c in a suit or my number one blues.

with me it's the tuxes... I hate them and I don't understand peoples love affair with formal clothing. I WANT to come across casual - ALWAYS. - It's deliberate signaling which is what people don't get, I'm trying to subtlety tell people I just don't engage formally... I have a passionate hatred of conventionality for which there's no love at all inside. I hate conventionality with everything in me.

@SW-User I did that for my last wedding. We went into church when they exchanged vows and no one noticed we weren't there from the start 🤣🤷‍♀️

@darkrose I actually love watching ceremonies. There is something so nice about witnessing the hopes and promises and all that. But the tearing up bit needs some working on.
I don't always enjoy socialising after...unless there is music and people are dancing. I can get lost in there.
