The interface..

Just noticed that when logged on this morning using Chrome that the friends icon is missing from the main menu bar... Just showing notifications and mail icons... Is this just me?

It's definitely not just you. There doesn't seem to be a way to know about a new follower/friend request now. Perhaps there is, and I just haven't noticed it yet.
