My workplace is "pushing to reduce worker injuries"

Which, as anyone with 2 braincells can tell you, is an outright lie. The reason for reduced injuries in 2019 was that people quit/got fired before they worked long enough to get injured. There are no meditation zones, the "stretch breaks" are more like, "hurry up and drink water, time's ticking" breaks, and their online wellness programs are essentially HR using google to answer your questions and provide tips. Bamazon needs to stop lying and just admit that yes, employees are going to get injured. That's part of asking them to work faster than machines and monitoring every second of their day, only to warn them about something out of their control.

A lot of these programs are either to reduce their insurance costs or in States where there is Government provided Comp, to lower the fees that Employers have to pay to Worker's Comp. Most employers don't give a crap beyond that...

@spjennifer Tax breaks mostly. Like the free shoe program, which yeah, great, but they're kind of the reject safety shoes. Fall apart fast, but hey, composite toes.
