Have you ever laughed during any serious situation?

I've choked back a few bouts of laughter and saved them for later...

but there was one; the woman's quartet singing in a "little country church"
that my ex and I visited to see a concert of another friend, was SO BAD...
I started in tears...then my ex and his mother looked at me,
all I could do was put my head down with laughter
that feigned tears and sobs...and then I LEFT quickly as to say
that "it had so moved me" that I had to leave;
I could hear the wailing from the bathroom above
and I couldn't leave the church or I would have gone outside to get away from it.
I returned as a few claps of gratitude for their finishing killing the cat,
subsided...and smiled saying that I was "feeling much better".

My ears were savagely raped and offended, somehow I was able to laugh about it rather than cry. This was several years ago...I haven't and hope to NEVER endure something like that again. I'm also old enough to LAUGH OUT LOUD if the spirit strikes me...🤣
