My mother drove me crazy as a kid. I would ask a question and rather than answer, she'd find a way to get me to look up the answer.
@samueltyler2 awesome mom...actually, I STILL do that with my son, not when he ASKS but when he is expounding on his studies...I have to learn what he's talking about.

@MsAlaineEYes then you may bevraising a scientist. How old is he? I don't wish to get into a political argument, but are you speaking about the science involved with the pandemic?
@samueltyler2 He's a bit more of a philosopher/psychologist/humanities major but very science minded. I have my Bach in Science and he gets it from me. We speak more about human communication, behavior and the difficulties that "we" have as humans to take personal accountability, mature and build community and a better world. We don't get into speculation and have to find the scientific studies, which are hard to find that aren't biased or supported by a biased sponsor, in order to really study anything. He'll be 20 next month. A man. Going to uni online.

@MsAlaineEYes sadly my grandson is also on line. Hopefully next year will be in person. I will have 2 grandsons in college next year.

Science includes a way of thinking, communications is a science.
@samueltyler2 In the Uni, Communication is in the "Arts" but aren't Art and Science so intrinsically connected that the science part of both is DATA, EVIDENCE, INVESTIGATION, etc. The art part is the BEAUTY of the esthetics, balance, the solving of problems.
One example of how they work together:
The Golden Ratio — also known as Golden Mean, Golden Part, Fibonacci

BTW; my son introduced this to me; he had been studying it...lol

@MsAlaineEYes yes, think about the classic artists, many were amazing scientists. DaVinci was a well respected scientist and artist.
