Do you feel he said the right thing or he was being a bit rude?

Back in the starting of 2019, when I was in 1st year 1st semester of college we were having final exams. While I was going to college in the public bus, suddenly the guy named Karthik who was in our class too got on the same bus and sat next to me. I used to often irritate him and try to act tough by showing my fist and trying to punch him but he was bigger built so he could chase me off using his bigger size. But that day none of us bothered each other. But I was really childish so he started giving me some advices saying 'Become more matured and change yourself or else no girl will like you.' He also continued saying 'See bro I am more matured than you and still girls don't even talk with me itself then how will girls like such a childish person like you?' Yes he literally said that he himself don't have any girlfriend even though he is more matured than me so I don't have a chance because of my childish nature. He said me to change soon because girls like smart and matured guys. Do you feel he said the right thing?

Yes, I think so. It sounds like he made a considered decision and tried to help you. He also revealed a part of himself that could be regarded as a weakness which is a brave thing to do. Sounds like someone who could be a valuable friend.

Yes, he was giving you good advice. It sounds as though he enjoyed the banter with you while in school and considers you a friend worth helping.
