If I remember right you could get I new chip off Ebay and basically unsolder the old one and solder in the new chip.

@Thexboxoneguy1991 Yeah I did have a couple of 360's with that problem going back a good few years ago now. I watched some videos on youtube showing you how to do it but it didn't look all that easy to be honest. I mean if you are confident with soldering maybe but otherwise I'd say it's probably a lot easier just to buy a second hand 360 these days as they'll probably be cheap as feck by now anyway.
