A woman was tied up, beaten, smothered with a pillow & pretended to die until she .had gasoline poured on her and was forced to drink some of it. The altercation moved outside of the home & she was beaten in the head several times & was thrown up against a brick wall. Neighbors heard the commotion & called the police. When they arrived the neighbors distracted the man to get him away from the woman so she could be rescued & he was arrested. She is in the hospital & he is facing several charges including attempted murder by poisoning. Her attackers identity? Her 19-year old son. She refused to give him money when he asked and he started attacking her.

@cherokeepatti I expect there would be local meth labs too?

@walabby yes but they have made it harder to get the ingredients here so I don’t know how common it is. I heard this from a man who knows a lot of convenience store owners from his country here in Oklahoma. Before the laws were changed, They were buying large cases of cold medications that were used to make meth. Making thousands of dollars a month selling them to meth manufacturers. It wasn’t illegal so they did it knowing what it was going to be used for. Now you are limited to one or two small packs of the medication and they make you show an ID and put it in a computer database when you buy it.
