My sisters and I might be. But to be fair, my dad is definitely on the spectrum. So maybe it's genetic.
We haven't been diagnosed though. But my dad was always soooooooooooo weird and I remember catching onto "wtf am I missing?" when I turned 12, same for my sisters. We didn't understand social norms, just like my dad, we didn't know what would be appropriate behavior, we were blind to social cues and couldn't read between the lines.
Even to this day coworkers are quick to realize that we're "easy to manipulate" because we understand so little of the social and office-politics world.
I just figured it out at 26 years of age. That is a year back. Certainly a shocker. :( I used to think getting diagnosed as to why we are the way we are would give us some peace, but it just... Makes me feel horrible and insecure aaaanndd especially unsafe in this cruel world.
