There are plenty of options. Last night I made Cajun chicken salad. The Cajun seasoning is no sugar and low carb on non depending on the brand. If you have a n oven. You could make zucchini lasagna. I always add meat to the sauce. Just look for a sauce low in sugar.

@rjc36 Thank you!! A salad would be a great option!

@assemblingaknob you are welcome.

It's funny, yet I never use any sugar or products that have sugar in any of my cooking. Not even fruits except hot cereals.

You might want to stay away from things like beets. Few know this yet sugar is often made from beets. Not just sugar cane.

@Penny Chinese is a good idea too!

@assemblingaknob i'm a fan of three bean salad lol. or chickpea and fennel salad (with optional artichoke hearts) if they can tolerate beans. beans are like a moderate carb item but three bean salad takes a little sugar. eta- googled it, beans are said to be great for diabetics

@Penny Yes I see!! Thank you so much!

Don't cook. Buy something from a sugar free bakery and serve it with tea or coffee.

Nothing wrong with a good pancake!

What you need is a meal that has no sugar and is low in cards.

Sweet potato is a good substitute for potato.
Beans are good too.

How about some pan-fried fish on a bed of pesto cannelli beans?

@InOtterWords OMG fish and beans!! I would love to try this!
