I grew up in an area where storms often lead to tornadoes. So I don't really like storms.

@swirlie That is actually rather fascinating. I had always imagined a sense of persistence to storms. But your explanation definitely matches what ones sees if they go through radar replays. Now I have a new understanding of what I see when I view those.
