Should we work towards scenarios where everybody wins, or is it important to have winners and losers?

That’s been an interesting conundrum. Many cultures do glorify winners and basically demonize losers, to the extent that some people see losing as the worst possible outcome in any situation—with any means of prevention being acceptable. “Participation” awards (given to those who attempt the endeavor, win or lose) was a well-intentioned idea to make losing “painless” that arguably made winning pointless.

Winning is subjective. So if we stop obsessing over the idea of trying to stereotype the definition of "winning", it might be possible for everyone to win.

I think having winners and loser is critical in a society as long as it does not glorify bully behavior. I hate that.
What do you call them if everybody is a winner ?
