It was when my future wife was dating others in college, and when I would pick her up for a date, her current fwb would make a point to meet me. I always smiled, shook his hand, hugged my girl, and said, "Nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you." Then I would smile big and help my girl into the car to leave.
