The speed of light is over 677 MILLION mph ... so at that slow speed , I would be dead long before I got anywhere . The measure distance in space in [i][b]light years[/b][/i].

@TexChik I’m aware of that. I used the speed you would need to leave the earths orbit.

If you traveled at light speed in an atmosphere, you would be killed by the air you compress in front of you.
