Have you ever a close call?

I just had one last night where a guy jumped the traffic light and was going to ram me.

I still remember seeing his headlights flash as he jumped the light. Since I was on my motorcycle, I accelerated and escaped but had I not done that then in a fraction of a second I probably would've lost my life.

I've been a violent crime victim a few times in my life. And just growing up in the home I grew up in was a serious risk which somehow I lived through. My mother killed people. I am glad I wasn't one of them. Once she attacked me at her friend Rose's house but Rose stopped her from actually killing me. I owe my life to her friend.

Good you were able to manage the situation, and keep yourself out of harms way. I think I've been close a few times, but what I tend to wonder is how many times have I been close without ever realizing it?

@HighJinx It was luck I guess. I mean I was too close to the person driving that car and I knew I wouldn't make it if I was slow.

I've been in situations like this far too many times and it gets scary to realize that maybe one day the luck may run out.
